How to Clean Your Toys (and What About Lube?)

A clean toy is a safe toy. The good news? It takes a minute.
1. Before first use and after every use
Rinse with warm water and mild, unscented soap, rub gently and air-dry (or use a lint-free towel). Water-resistant toys can go straight under the tap; non-waterproof ones get a damp cloth only – keep the charging port dry.
2. Lube: water-based only
With silicone toys, use water-based lube only. Silicone-based lube can damage the surface and make it sticky.
3. Storage
- Store each toy separately in a pouch or box.
- Keep away from sun and heat.
- Charge occasionally even when not in use.
A few more tips
- Don’t share a toy without a thorough clean (or a condom on it).
- Clean anal toys especially well and never switch straight to front use.
- If a toy cracks or changes texture, it’s time to replace it.
